The hotel is in a great location, on the edge of a very quiet and serene town called Chaska. It's located next to a river and a forest, and there are nature trails near-by. There are a few restaurants up the street as well, and a small little "downtown" section right near the hotel.
The price we paid was around $70US. Our room came with a decent sized fridge, a microwave, and a coffeemaker. There also was a small gym and two pools for guests to use. The view was quite nice, especially if you can get a rear-facing room overlooking the river and the forest. The hotel has a bar/restaurant, though to be honest this was the most disappointing part of the stay, as the food was not very good and quite overpriced, and the service was terrible.
The hotel is about 25 minutes from Valleyfair amusement park and 40 minutes from the Mall of America and downtown Minneapolis.
All in all, this was easily my favourite hotel of our seven-day trip, with five hotels in six nights, and I would definitely both go back again and recommend it to anyone seeking a fair price and respectable location to Minneapolis' sights.
