“Excedes Expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

This hotel offers amenities, service and surroundings far surpassing what one expects in a Best Western. The hotel staff were some of the most helpful, pleasant people I have come across. It rivals the othery luxury hotels that I have stayed in. I would highly recommend this hotel for both business and pleasure travel

Stayed two nights. Hotel was clean, rooms spacious and well appointed. Staff was friendly and helpful. lots of channels on big flat screen TV. Pool, though small and fairly shallow was clean and warm. Hot tub needed water but was very hot.

We had two meals at the hotel's restaurant, Morgan's. Lunch of Shepard's pie, Walleye sandwich and meatloaf were all well prepared and tasty, though not outstanding. Service was good. Our evening meal the next day started off on a bad note when we arrived to find the dinning room so cold (a problem in restaurants across the country) that the four of us had to rustle up four table candles in an effort to stay warm. After a number of complaints, the manager shut down the air conditioning and within fifteen minutes the room began to become comfortable. I had prime rib which was excellent, the pretzel crusted walleye was very good as were the other meal. Good but not excellent.

All in all the combination of a fine hotel with room service and excellent amenities and a very good restaurant make the Best Western a hotel that we will stay at again in the future and can recommend.

Friendly staff and excellent restaurant. I would stay here again if we were in the area. Everyone was very friendly. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant has great food.

Staff, facilities and service were top notch. Nothing like being greeted/welcomed with a smile and a firm handshake after a long day of travel and meetings. Food was good and workout facilities suited my needs, didn't use the pool, but looked nice and the area surrounding area looked very well maintained.

Fantastic! The rooms are beautiful--I had the opportunity to book twice with this Hotel and both times were beyond the Excellent Rating.
The rooms are clean and not too big yet not too small--you can actually breathe :)
The Restaurant was so accommodating with the "special request" that I had. The pool area is spic and span clean.
And the front Lobby? Every time I walked through I was asked if everything was ok or if I needed something or was told to simply have a great day!
The mall is 10 miles from MOA but so worth the 10 minute drive! This was my eighth time to Minnesota in two years and I would HIGHLY recommend this Hotel!

I chose this hotel because it was located near events I would be attending surrounding a funeral, and the on line reviews I'd read were positive. From the moment I arrived in the lobby and talked with front desk personnel, I felt I'd made the right choice. Despite being in a large metropolitan area, the clerks knew about the funeral and their attentive, sensitive comments lent a "home town" feel. Mitch made a personal visit upstairs to see if my room was ready, and Audrey explained hotel facilities. Having been driving all day, it was a relief to know I could visit the hotel restaurant for a late lunch. Lunch was delicious. I ordered and took it to my room. Quiet, clean, comfortable and located for easy access, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Service delivery was competent, personal and attentive. In the winter, I work at a ski resort and appreciate being on the receiving end of guest centered service.

this is by far my favorite hotel to stay at. every weekend i stay for atleast 2-3 days. i recommend the executive king rooms. i love how on weekends they serve breakfast until 2pm because people like to sleep in and still want breakfast even if they wake up late. if im ever going to recommend a hotel it would be this one.
