My wife and I were looking for a place to eat. We called Red Lobster and they said they weren't busy, wouldn't let us call ahead due to no wait, but when we got there it was a half hour wait. And we were under a time crunch. So we walked across the street to porter creek. A very attractive place. The smells were wonderful! The subtle smell of Hardwood smoke filled the restaurant. They have different smoked meats for dinner. We started off with artichoke fondue kettle. My wife had the salmon with corn sauce. I had the Frenched pork chop with apricot chutney. It was all very very good. The presentation of the food dishes reminded us of Eagles Nest, on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. Very unique. We were so happy to find this place. Our waitress, Liz, was very nice and helpful. It was a very good experience. If we are ever back in the area, we definitely will be back to porter creek.
