“Not off to a good start . . .”
My husband and I decided to try this place for lunch a couple of weeks ago - mistake.
The 1st impression was so bad we left without even trying the food!
When we got there about 12:40, there were only a few people seated for dining. We asked for a booth - there were many empty - yet waited for at least 5-10 minutes to have someone finally seat us at a booth that had just been cleared off (why they didn't seat us at an empty booth, who knows) . The tabletop and seats on the booth were sopping wet! When I asked them to dry the booth they said oh, it's just a little wet, it'll dry in a few seconds. Sure it will . . . When (and if) we would sit down in our business clothes! I asked again and the server seemed perturbed but got a napkin (like 1 napkin would have dried this booth - not) and proceeded to try today the booth. He then rudely walked away with the booth seat still being wet. I certainly was not going to sit in a wet booth in my business clothes, and thought if that was there customer service, what was the wait and food going to be like? Needless to say we left and never found out. Moral of the story: First impressions are lasting impressions. We will not be back . . .
