As you walk into Grizzly's, you see and feel the warm wood fire and then you notice the chickens turning slowly on the rotisserie; this acts like a visual appetizer. The restaurant is modeled after a somewhat rustic log cabin that you might expect to find in the middle of a pine forest, but of course, it's on the main drag in the Brainerd/Baxter area. The staff are very friendly and we were seated for dinner without a wait. Service was very attentive and welcoming. We had smoked beef brisket, wood-roasted chicken and the wood-fired roadhouse burger. Everything was delicious and cooked as requested. We skipped dessert as we were full but the desserts I saw looked great.
