I was absolutely thrilled with my one night stay at Crowne Plaza. The entire staff was exceptionally courteous, professional and went way beyond the call of duty on numerous occasions. I loved the women´s wing... made me feel secure and safe and enjoyed the quiet and beautiful room with all needed amenities and even a great selection of snacks and magazines to read. When I went to the mall just to see it and there was a misunderstanding regarding the returning shuttle, Travis jumped in another shuttle just to get me! Then when Travis was serving another customer while I awaited the 4 pm. shuttle to the airport, an off duty employee jumped in and specifically took me to the airport and was very happy to do so and was very friendly. Since I was flying standby and didn´t know if I would be able to fly out that date, Elena assured me that I could have an equivalent room at the same rate if I needed to come back. It was all wonderful. If I am ever in MSP again, I will absolutely stay there again - they won me over with stars! They exceeded all my expectations! I´ve stayed at Crowne Plaza´s in Holland, Great Britain and Phoenix AZ as well and have been pleased. I highly recommend Crowne Plaza and especially the Bloomington MN hotel.

I stayed here June 9 - June 11 and I loved this hotel. I travel quite frequently and mostly stay at Hilton Hotels but this one came very highly recommended so I gave it a try - glad I did. The hotel's restaurant/bar had excellent food and the female bartender was great! The fitness center, pool and hot tub were an extra added bonus. This is my first time writing a review; no other hotel empressed me as much as this one (even after getting kicked out of the hot tub for being in afterhours). A hidden treasure in Bloomington!

Due to flight delay, I spent the night at Crown Hotel and arrived just before midnight. The desk manager, Shugg Robinson, was so welcoming and assuring. Despite having several people at reception, as well as handling phone calls, he multi-tasked with amazing efficiency, remained calm, friendly and got me quickly settled into a wonderful room in the wing of the hotel reserved for single women travelers. My luggage was on the plane, so I was most grateful for the soft robe and slippers provided. The restaurant was closed, but in the hall I had access to a fridge and pantry that had puddings, ice cream, oatmeal bars, chocolates, nuts, etc. - all complimentary. My room was fit for royalty - everything provided, even a special CD that you could play if you had trouble going to sleep. The wing I stayed in was for single women only, no men or children - so I felt safe and secure that I would get a good night's rest. In the morning, I had the world's best buffet breakfast with everything you can think of eating for the first meal of the day. Shugg was still on duty that morning, and he greeted me warmly. It made me feel like a welcomed friend, rather than a traveling stranger. Shugg made certain that I had everything I needed in order to catch my connecting flight, including the free shuttle service with the world's best driver. That kind man gave a tour-guide description of the city as we drove to the airport, and I learned all kinds of interesting things about this place that I had never been to before. If I ever get stranded again, I hope it will be in Minneapolis and I will be delighted to stay at the Crown Hotel. Better yet, I now plan to make a visit to this wonderful city as a tourist (something I never previously considered) because the people there were so helpful, friendly, courteous and professional. I was most impressed with Shugg Robinson's excellent service - he deserves praise for his wonderful manner and attitude.

This was a good hotel near the Mall of America and other Bloomington businesses. The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel was smaller than surrounding properties and of contemporary design. It was nice but some common areas were just a little worn. The restaurant looked very stylish but we did not have time to try it. The room was nice and extremely clean (friendly and efficient housekeeping staff) and the best part were the very comfortable beds. (And unlike other reviews, our shower worked fine). The hotel website tries to portray this as an upscale business hotel but it was surprisingly kid-friendly. The pool has a nice shallow end and the fitness room overlooks the pool so you can easily watch your kids and work out at the same time. The fitness room was small but all of the machines seemed new--it was nice to have the style with the inset TVs. We liked this hotel overall but one of the drawbacks was that it is in the middle of corporate office block and there are no other restaurants nearby. It was fairly easy to access from the highway. We would stay again.
