“Old, good location and mostly nice staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

The location of the hotel is great at least for the purpose of my visit, they upgraded me to club room as a Gold SPG member and I got access for the club lounge for breakfast, the room was very spacious and so was the toilet, the only restaurant in the hotel had great french food and I enjoyed it couple of times during my week stay. breakfast at the club lounge was just serials, fruits and some bagel and toasts didnt try the hotel breakfast at the restaurant, the hotel is old and you can tell its old from the minute you walk in but still felt cozy and not annoying old. The only bad experience I had there was the house keeping, they only added shampoo and soap after my 4th night, I had a dirt glass in the room from the bar downstairs and it stayed in the room the next day another dirty glass and both lasted till my check out 3 days later.

Hotwire booked us this hotel last minute after a poor experience at another hotel. The staff at the Sheraton were very welcoming as soon as we walked in the door. We were travelling with our 2 small children, 2 years and 5 months of age. The ladies at the front desk were amazing with our 2 year old, even buying him a stuffed toy! They gave us a larger room to accommodate our family which gave us some much needed space! The room was large, clean and very comfortable. We were able to set up a play pen and still have plenty of room. My son always stopped to talk to the ladies at the front desk, as they were so great with him. We had a great stay and recommend this place to anyone!

Combined business and family getaway. Hotel does not have a pool. Pretty good excercise room. Short drive to Mall of America. Light rail access at park and ride near MoA, or MoA. Room was clean. If staying a couple of days, you can delay housekeeping and get cash rewards or points if you are SPG. They will bring clean towels. Restaurant was pricey but good. Used rewards to offset breakfast bill. Front desk staff was very helpful.

Room Tip: Upper floors and facing out seemed to be better. Some rooms face lobby and atrium.

This hotel has been around for a long time even though it's called a Sheraton now. It's over priced and absolutely nothing special. There are better choices in the area. To me it is dark inside and the French influence of the Sofitel remains which doesn't make it a Sheraton to me. It doesn't have a comfortable feel and I only saw one expensive restaurant, no coffee shop. It's updated but not totally as you have to open by hand the doors into the hallways, difficult with luggage, and nothing to press for handicap access. In my opinion, they have a long way to go. There is a telephone in the bathroom by the commode. Is that necessary? Just stuff that was maybe kind of unique in its day but we're past that now.

Stayed here during my cross country move. We arrived at midnight and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. We had a dog with us and the woman working the desk offered treats and made sure to greet the dog. We even got a special door hangar for him. The rooms were huge and the bed was incredibly comfortable. And don't get me started on the bathroom. I wanted to move in! At the last minute, I requested late check out and it was not a problem at all to make the change. After more than 12 hours in the car, this was a welcome rest.

We arrived in the middle of a two week road trip after a day of laundry and driving. We were given a beautiful, huge room with very up to date features. The best part was the friendly desk staff who gave us directions to the Mall of America and great advice of places to get Milwaukee souvenirs. They really made us feel welcome.
