“Contemporary suite that felt large enough to live in”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2009

This was our first visit to a Cambria Suites and we were thrilled. The location is perfect for those wanting to shop the Mall (not us!) and for those just flying in late (less than 5 min. to the airport.) Best yet, the cost was cheap, but the design and attention to detail made us feel like we should have paid double! If we'd been staying in the area longer, I could definitely see using this suite as home-base for a family of 4. Only thing missing? Breakfast included.

We were just here 2 days on our way to Europe, and chose this hotel because of its proximity to the mall and the airport. The staff was friendly and the suite was very nice, clean and the details like the nice hotel shampoo was lovely. The kids enjoyed the computers in the lobby and played wii. The breakfast was great too.The shuttle buses took us to the mall and the airport. I would not have minded staying here a lot longer.

Our purpose in visiting Minneapolis was to shop at MOA and this hotel was great for it!Pretty close to the Mall with a free shuttle.Close to Airport too !!!Nice staff, brand new hotel, trendy rooms. My only complaint is that breakfast should have been complimentary, since we had nowhere else close to have the meal !!!

Used TA to search hotels in the area for a 3 day trip to MOA. This hotel was rated #1 for Bloomington so we tried it out and were not disappointed. The hotel and its rooms looked brand new. Like an earlier reviewer said, the rooms are decent sized and divided in two by a half wall. The one room is like a little living room with desk (free WiFi and there's an ethernet cable), sofa (with pull out bed), and LCD on wall. The other room, the bedroom, had 2 queens (very comfortable), with another LCD tv. Near the front door is a food area with microwave and mini fridge.
We only dealt with 3 staff members and they were all friendly. The free shuttle to the MOA was nice. The soundproofing of the rooms was above average, but it's impossible to block out those nearby jets completely.
We will defintely stay here again, but next time just the two of us!

We went up for a trip to Mall of America and stayed here one night. The hotel is very clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel had a small coffee shop that we enjoyed. They offered a shuttle to the Mall, but we decided to drive over since it was so close. Also, there is a pay breakfast that looked pretty decent, but we decided to eat breakfast elsewhere.

Only downside is the pool is kind of small. Our younger kids still had fun, but the older ones lost interest quick.

This hotel was unlike any that I had ever seen. I loved the modern decor! It was close to the mall and we were able to get shuttles quickly. The staff was very friendly!

The cambria is cool, new, and clean. We just returned from a trip to the cities for family fun. We have stayed in this hotel before...and several other hotels in then area, The cambria is our favorite. There is plenty of room for the whole family in this room, and the layout makes it easy for kids and adults to enjoy the stay without getting into eaqch others hair. Two flat screen tvs - one in te bed area, and one inthe sitting/work area.

They have a nice pool area- very nice, maybe a bit small but we have not seen it crowded during the week so it is fine. My husband and I enjoyed the fitness area - good equipment and roomy and clean.

They have a free shuttle running back and forth to the MOA every hour which we have found is easier than driving - it takes longer to walk to and from the mall parking garage than it does to get to the shuttle area.

We have never eaten at the hotel...we go the the cities to enjoy the variety of restaurants sooooooo I really can't speak for the food...but they have a free Wolgang Puck coffee bar that we stopped by every morning on our way out for the day
