I stayed at the hotel and left my car like I do often. When returning to get my car the battery was completely dead. Parked in the garage I could not call Triple A. Joseph Cortelli and Chandler (the shuttle driver) Went out of their way to help me with the situation. although the hotel policy is to not help start cars for people because of luiablity reasons, they did everything they could to help me find the people and tools needed to get me on the road. Thank yiou so much!

We stayed one night at the hotel as part of a package that allowed us underground parking at the airport while we were gone on a trip. While the underground parking is pretty sweet. It was super nice to come home to a warm and clean car with all the snow, the rest of it was not nice at all. It took us almost 50 minutes to check in as the hotel was booked to capacity. Little to no assistance from any of the staff, people quite literally fighting with each other in the parking lot over luggage carts. Once we got to our room it was fine nothing spectacular and it was COLD!!!! We turned the heat up to what the thermostat said was 74 degrees and both my husband and I were still shivering. (He is NEVER cold.) Then there was the bedding...I am not sure I understand what the point is of having a sheet that does NOT reach the end of the bed. We both had trouble sleeping between being cold and grossed out that our feet were touching a mattress pad that we had no indication of the last time it was washed. Overall I would not recommend this hotel for a good nights sleep. The only part we liked was the parking!!

Came up for a weeknight stay. We used a Mall of America coupon for $20 off our room. We asked for and received a late check out so our kids could enjoy the watermark, which on a Friday morning was quite empty. This ended up being a great value for us.

Went for a birthday party with my son(11) and 5 of his friends. We did the special with the waterpark and the nickolodean universe package. Kids had a blast! Room was clean and nice, overlooked waterpark. Staff at front desk was very helpful and accoomodating. I would recommend to a friend.

We took the kids to the waterpark and one night @ the hotel for a Xmas present.....they had a BLAST! They loved the room which came with bunk beds....at first I thought they wouldn't leave the room bc they enjoyed those beds so much, with the little nightlights, and in the cubby....it was a great room, fridge, sleeper sofa, etc. Beds weren't all that comfortable, but the rest of the room was so great, it made up for it. Large inviting fireplace in the entry, we went down after swimming to warm up and just enjoy the fire. Got a LATE checkout which was great and allowed us to swim, until 3 pm! The waterpark was an absolute blast, even with a 22 month old, we took her on all the slides and the lazy river was AMAZING. She and I floated in a raft for 90 minutes the first night and she was SO calm. We live in this town, but we'll still be back for another weekend like this! A little pricey for hotel and the swimming, but for a weekend of fun and memories it was definitely worth it!!!

After hearing for many years how fun and beautiful this place was, we purchased a weekend as a late Christmas present for the kids (We purposely waited until after Winter break and New Years, knowing they would be busy.)…what a horror! I’ll begin with the hotel. Pros: fun theme, great look, room (king with bunks) was spacious and had a fridge and microwave. Room service was quick and the pizza was very good! Cons: The hotel, lobby, restaurants, hallways were all freezing! Bathroom in our room was very, very small. Many things were showing wear and tear, without being fixed. Our room had a wiggly bathroom door handle, shower head was broken (worked, but you couldn’t “direct” it) – vending machine didn’t work. We ate the breakfast buffet at the “Split Rock Lighthouse” – it was good, but I mentioned to 2 different people that there was a very obvious fly in the peaches on the buffet…yet when we left 30 minutes later, the fly remained! Parking and elevator waits also a major concern.
As for the water park…this was the biggest disappointment. Pros: fun slides, water temperature was warm! Cons: Where to start…Way, Way Way too crowded!!! Saturday was bad, but even Sunday morning was horrid! There are way too many people for the amount of space. There were not enough tubes, people were stealing tubes from small kids, seriously dumping them out to take the tube! However, the other problem was that there were way to many tubes in the lazy river – it was bumper to bumper tubes – with many people pushing from behind, plowing over other tubes and little kids! Very dangerous! The life guards on duty yawned constantly, did not interact or help anyone getting onto the tube slides (except for family tube ride) and seemed to never notice people stealing tubes, pushing or rough housing. The lines for all the tube rides are very long (family tube ride 1+ hour wait) The lockers are expensive ($6) and very small. The changing rooms were filthy; clothing was thrown about everywhere including by the toilets in the “water” on the floor. As for towels, they were laying all over the park, wet and dirty – yet at 6pm on Saturday night the towel counter was shut down and we were told they did not have any towels (not once did I see an employee picking up used towels). On Sunday (1pm) they did have towels, but again, they would only let you take 1 per person, so I had to go get my cold wet kids to walk across the park to get a towel.
The park in general was very dirty – old gum stuck to the floor and stairs everywhere – lots of garbage in the corners on stairs, behind tables, etc… Bottom line - We will not return!
