“Convenience with a contemporary flair.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2014

The newness of the hotel is nice. The rooms are nicely appointed but not very comfortable for the business traveler with exception of the bed. Valet parking is key for this location and is included. The restaurant in the hotel Fire Lake has some unique selections that are over the top tasty.

This hotel was used for a two day business stopover. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the restaurants reasonably priced and have some good food.

The staff are friendly and we got a great price for a two night stay.

We ended up here for 2 nights when my flights out of Minneapolis got cancelled. It's really close to the airport and they run a shuttle service back and forth. There is so much potential entertainment here that I'd choose it over an airport hotel any time. The hotel is pleasant, rooms a little generic, but with a refrigerator (no minibar) nice room service and very comfortable bed with lots of pillows and comfy sheets. This is the only hotel that leads right into the Mall of America. If you like malls (not so big on them myself) you'll love this. It contains an indoor amusement park and an aquarium, as well as endless shops with familiar names. I used the mall to walk briskly and to people watch. There are lots of movie theaters. Really nice restaurant in the hotel (FireLake) with lovely staff and terrific, quite inventive food.

No tub, but I see them less and less, and an odd configuration in the bathroom where you have to go around the door to use the toilet. In room safe - at the right height - and nice storage. Also I appreciate all the different kinds of lighting.

People in this hotel were exceptionally nice and courteous, very solicitous of the fact that I was stuck there, very friendly. There was a conference going on in part of the hotel, but it didn't have a noisy conference-hotel feel. You can only go up the elevators with your room key - nice safety feature since it is right on the mall.

Room Tip: I stayed in two different rooms, on consecutive nights which looked identical but were in reverse. H...

RadissonBlu at the Mall of America in Bloomington/Minneapolis is a short hop from the airport and has a skyway entrance to the Mall of America. Check in was smooth, although another family member had to put $100 deposit on their credit card...not sure what that was all about. We had 4 rooms total and the rooms with 2 queens seemed to be a little more spacious than the king bedded rooms. Kids used the pool and it was nice, but no hot tub. Bedding was very nice and decor was modern. Refrigerators in every room was a nice touch. It didn't make sense that you had to swipe your key every time you went on the elevator to have it stop at your floor while the stairs were wide open.

Room Tip: The hallways are very long however, as the elevators are on one end of the hotel. If you don't...

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us! We are pleased to read you and your family enjoyed your visit.

Our guest's safety is of the utmost importance to us which is why all guests need to use their room key to access the elevators to the guest floors. Unfortunately, the staircases are for emergency exits only and are not available for re-entry.

On behalf of our entire staff, we thank you for your business and look forward to the next time your travels bring you back to the are!

Stayed here with our two older kids (20 and 18) for New Year's Eve. Beautiful, classy accommodations. I requested an upper floor away from the elevators - not a problem. We looked out over the MSP airport and got a view of downtown Minneapolis. Had reservations at a comedy club in the MOA. Didn't need to go outside to get to the MOA - skyway took us right there. Very convenient. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here with wife and teenage son and 10 yr old daughter on package stay 3 nights for price of 2. The rooms were very nice and modern. Check in and out were a breeze, staff was extremely accommodating. Being right there at the mall was a great plus (stayed at another hotel for spring break and traffic was a bear). Pool was nice for the kids a hot tub would be nice.
Did not eat at hotel prices were a bit high and many choices to eat at mall and nearby. Would recommend Cadillac Ranch in mall. Would recommend hotel for anyone shopping MOA.

I did not use the valet service for $22.00 a night added to your final bill. The door men were helpful. The check in process was very quick and easy. The lobby was warmed with heating fans. All staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. I didn't like the height of the bathroom sink, anyone shorter then 5' 5" will find it challenging. I did not use the pool nor gym. The continental breakfast was lacking, I filled my coffee cup. You can order room service or eat in the restaurant, prices beginning around $9.00. I will stay again for the convenience of being able to come and go from the Mall of America. Checkout was also fast and easy. I enjoyed my stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room close to the elevator. My room was half way down a long hallway.
