LOVE this place. The food was awesome and super fast service. This little jewel is easily found just off I 75 in Wolverine. It is very clean and so darn cute. Price was great. They offer wonderful specials every day.

“Slow !!! Waited OVER 1 hour and 10 minutes. Left and wont be back”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

Yes it's summer busy time up here with tourist season. So if you choose to eat out at smaller towns you take the risk. People have been talking about the new place. With that in mind we decided to head out for a later diner to avoid the earlier rush at most places. "BIG MISTAKE" yes it was busy but not anyone really waiting. They said it would be about 10 15 minutes for a table ok. Sat at bar ordered pop and breadsticks. Over 30 minutes later a table. ok well we will order right away. WAITED, WAITED, WAITED for over 1 hour and 10 minutes no food yet. THE WAITRESS NEVER STOPPED BY AND ASKED IF WE WANTED ANYTHING AT ALL. YOUNGER BOY AROUND 14 (we asked how old he was) SERVED US WATER. No Joke. We started to get very irritated and flagged down another employee (we think it was an owner or mgr) no matter; Then our waitress joined her.
We looked at them told them they have lost us as customers and this was just unbelievable. Told them how long we had been there and how how others ate and left during our wait,
NO JOKE the waitress just stood there didn't really say anything and then walked away. Which is why we think the other lady was the owner/or Mgr. She looked at us like deer in the headlights and didn't really say a whole lot; like she would check on the order or anything. Just kinda like it's busy. So we said here's the cash for the breadsticks and stated "you" have lost us. She says "the bread sticks are on us" ps they weren't good. They really weren't. Can't comment on any of the food b/c we never received any. We can tell you First Hand service is awful. Locally "word" gets around and with that said we have heard the food isn't bad but
if all the folks we have talked with made posts I would bet the trend would be poor service. It just appeared they didn't care. Busy or not word of mouth will take care of it and......business won't be busy anymore !!!!

Just to mention the most annoying end to this: there was table of two persons that ordered 2 pizzas just about the time we sat down at our table. They not only received their food ate and paid their bill and another couple was seated, ordered and we still had no food. Personally I think they lost our order. We ordered sandwiches . Happy ending drove down the road to Vivo's (busy place) got seating right away ordered Lasagna and one other entree ATE paid bill and were on our way within 40 minutes tops. If you know Vivios (oops spelling) they are always busy.

Locally surrounding town talk seems to be food is good if you get served. Service is in the tank Since that is a major part of the eating out experience we probably will pass this place up. We get where we live and after all it's northern Michigan but eating out these days shouldn't be a grind. KEEP IN MIND THE PLACE MAY BE NEW BUT THE OWNERS ARE SEASONED AND PRETTY SURE THEY SHOULD KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

There are places that have both the food and service covered and those places should be the one's to patronize. After all it's your hard earned money. IF a place is good they will drive; we drive to Pearls and Red Mesa and it takes an hour to get there from up here. Just a few Douglas Lake Bar and Pier 33 and Your Spirit Cheboygan all good. Just thought we'd throw that in for good measure.

“Mmmmmmmm”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013 via mobile

We had been wanting to try this place out. There was a group of 5 of us. My husband and a friend ordered the two different pasta specials, I had the pulled pork sandwich, another friend had a burger and my daughter had a chicken wrap. Everything was hot, delicious and we really liked it. This is a place we will be returning to very soon! The only bad thing was it seemed to take a little long to get our food, but aside from that a good experience.

“The longest wait ever. 1 hour for 2 burgers”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013 via mobile

Not happy. Will not come back. Over an hour wait for 2 Burgers. Sat at the bar hoping for some better drink service, but that did not happen.
