“Real Mexican Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2014

The location is easy to find right on the north west corner of the intersection of Us 31 and M72 in Acme. The people are great and so is the food! Not Tex Mex it is the real thing. Served with homemade salsas that are fresh and wonderful. They are red and green and at varing degrees of heat. The salsas as well as everything else are available "to go" and if you have been to Mexico, this is the place to get the authentic fresh chips you got there!
I stop there every chance I get and highly recommend them!!!!!!!

“Authentic Mexican as good as any in So Cal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

Had a neighborhood get together and thought it might be fun to share our southern California culture with our friends by bringing take out from Osorio. The reviews of Osorio's looked good so we decided to give it a try. We ordered 16 tacos--half shredded chicken and onion and half carne asada. These are the simple authentic soft corn tortilla versions, with onion and cilantro on the side. The chicken tacos stole the show. They all quickly disappeared. The carne asada was tender and lean but sadly over salted. I'm hoping this was just a salty batch.
We also had a dozen shredded beef tamales. This was a totally new experience for some in the party. These were among the best I've tasted. Nice moist masa where you could actually taste the corn. Once unhusked, we topped them a variety of salsas.
We also picked up a couple orders of freshly made chips and salsa. Just like home. They also sell bagged store type chips, but get the real ones and pick some of the 6 or 7 salsas they make to go with them.
Service was courteous and friendly, but you'd expect nothing less in TC.
Sadly, no cervesas.

“Wonderful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

This resturant moved from Traverse City to Williamsburg. We ate there in TC atleast 3 times a week. Best mexican ever. We moved but made the trip up this year to eat at thw new location. Not as good as old but we had one meal and it is still better than any other mexican i have had. Try the creamosa!

“Authentic Mexican food...quite pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

There is no doubt that this place has excellent, authentic Mexican food. Everything we tried was excellent....definitely no Taco Bell here!!! The Mexican Sandwich I had with chicken was exellent (although there could have been more chicken on it...).

My only two compaints were that the prices seemed very high, especially when considering the relatively small portion sizes. The second complaint (although not at all indicative of how the establishment is run, as it's just not having previous knowldege of the menu) is that the food choices are necessarily "kid-friendly". They were excited about getting tacos, but were disappointed in wha they received (although it was certainly authentic!!!).

Overall not a bad place, I'm just not sure of the value of the meal......
