“Good neighborhood eatery.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Good place to meet neighbors and friends. But don't plan on having a pleasant conversation. Strictly a bar scene with loud music and chatter. Food is good but limited menu. Service can be spotty.

“Art &Jakes restaurant in Washington, MI”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Food was good and plentiful but acoustics of restaurant make it hard to hear anyone talking.
The place was just noisy. You found yourself talking very loudly just to be heard. Not my idea of a relaxing dinner. When I left I felt like I had competed with everyone to speak loud enough.
Will not go back as most of the time would rather have a quiet , relaxing lunch or dinner.

“Great Food, Kid Friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

This is a place you can go in any attire. It is a sports bar however it is kid friendly, with individual TV's on the high tops so if kids don't want to watch the sporting events on the big TV's they can put on cartoons or something else. We go there 2-3 times a month (sometimes more). Food is very good at an average price from Chicken Marsala, rib eye steak, fajitas, delicious salads, cod dinner, boneless wings, pizza, paninis, burgers, kids meals etc. They also have a European ethnic grill from Macedonia & Serbia in which my husband loves the "Uvijac" which is bacon & cheese stuffed pork loin. Something for everyone!

“Decent place if you like a zillion tv sports channels on at one time.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

It is a sports bar afterall - the entire ceiling to wall border was wall to wall tv showing events. Very willing to separate one burger on two plates. Good selection of beer on tap.
