“RUSTIC; EVEN THE FOOD”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2013

Not many places open in this corner of Michigan during the off season but Timothy's was open. That was the high point
The place is a rustic old in with fire place breaking the dark winter,
Unfortunately the food did not match the ambiance.
The though of grilled caesar salad or lettuce wedge was a novelty. though surprisingly not bad.
One could say a 5 star experience when compared to everything else being closed.

“Great Food, Great Deal!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

My family recently went to Timothy's and had a wonderful experience. We were recommended to the restaurant because of it's 10 entrees for $10. Our party ordered from the speciality menu, as well as the regular menu and we could not have been more please with the portion size, presentation and taste of our meals! Not to mention, our waitress was excellent - so kind and funny, and always checking to see if we needed anything else. The restaurant was also very quiet, which made it very easy to talk and catch up with family. The ambiance was perfect and the food simply delicious.

“First Visit Not The Last”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013 via mobile

Timothy's is tucked away in the beach community just west of Union Pier, Michigan. It is located in the quaint Gordon Beach Inn. Timothy's, seasonal, 10 entrees for $10 menu was the motivation for our first visit. Hardwood floors and a beautiful copper topped bar great you at the door. The dining room is very comfortable with a roaring fireplace and subtle lighting that perfectly accents the room. The big plus, however, was the food. Our entrees were creatively prepared and the flavors were complex and outstanding. It was obvious that Timothy maintains attention to detail regardless of menu item or price. Service was outstanding. Our server knew each entree's components as well as Timothy's approach to their preparation. We added one of the best clam chowders we have ever had. We will be back, and soon.

“Superb Selection & Spectacular Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013 via mobile

We were delighted with everything about Timothy's. It is tucked away at the historical Gordon Beach Inn. The dining room is quaint, rustic warm and inviting.
We were served by a very friendly woman whom had just relocated from another nice restaurant in Chicago. Wendy gave us a guided tour of the menu and brought out samples for us to try. Fire roasted tomato soup and an unusual creation of beer, cheese and pesto that was delicious.
We also have a home in the Keys , so I was excited to see conch fritters and grouper on the menu. However, the walleye looked like a big hit and a local knowledge choice.
The menu is varied, we tried the duck two ways. Lots more choices to make everyone in your group happy.
Adequate selection of wines ...however, the chef prepares his own fresh pulp mixer for a fun selections of cocktails.
I liked the sound of the blueberry martini.
If you are in Harbor Country and want an upscale meal , good service and a traditional dining room....try Timothy's.
I personally can't wait to go back!

“Timothy's in September”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

Timothy's has always had a great upscale menu. Now post Labor Day. They introduced 10 for 10$ to attract off season business. It's great with diverse selection good food. And you can still select their wonderful appetizer list or desert list. Their clams and sausage and egg roll appetizers are excellent and almost a meal. They pair well with the reduced portions of their 10$ meals. If your in the new buffalo area you must try Timothy's .
