Hampton Inn in Traverse City is clean, comfortable and accomodating in an excellent location. A good hot breakfast buffet is included. We have stayed here several times when we have an early flight out of Cherry Capital Airport. There is a stay - park - fly program that is very convenient. If you spend the night you can leave your car in their secure, lighted parking lot. The staff will book a cab to take you the short two miles to the airport for your flight and will pick you up when you return. The staff are friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the Hampton Inn, you will not be disappointed.

Wow, if it was only summer. The hotel is located directly across from the State Park beach in Traverse City and next door to the state campground. The bed was perfect for my fiancee and I, the staff was welcoming. The decor was appealing (see not 1970's) with many wood adornments. a flat screen TV, a closet off to the side and not right when you walk in the door, and thick wooden window treatments that allow you to wake up on your time and not the sun's.

As for the breakfast we stayed when there was a travel hockey team in the hotel and I've been to one too many complimentary hotel breakfasts that are picked through and cold. This was neither with a selection of piping hot coffees, a multitude of tea, couple of juices, a waffle station, cereal spot, pastries that were above average, western omelettes, and potatoes. As for the western omelette they are obviously not made to order when you look at them but they do have cheese, ham, peppers, and onions and are better than some I've tried at various greasy spoon locales. The potatoes were not bland and rather quite good, if I could find out where to get them I would. Overall this was a breakfast I would pay money for, but it is nice not to.

Next time I am in Traverse City I will be staying here... and will try to make it to the pool.

Great stay at a very nice hotel. Friendly, helpfulstaff and an excellent breakfast buffet. The only negative was the absence of an exhaust fan in the bathroom. But overall, very happy with this hotel.

I had a trade show at the Grand Traverse Resort for 2 days, so I selected this near by hotel. A great central location, not far from the resort or downtown. The hotel is modern, clean with a nice staff. My 4th floor room had a view of the bay, and very quiet at night. A little early evening street noise, but late night was dead silent. Breakfast was the typical fair; with many local restaurants nearby. Mind you this is off season. I was happy with my stay.
