We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites the week after Labor Day. The entire hotel was very clean and well-kept, from the lobby to our room. We stayed in one of the suite rooms which included a jacuzzi tub, which was really nice. The bathroom was really small and the shower was very hard to turn on, I had to call my husband into the bathroom for him to get it to turn on lol. The lights in the room were a little weird, not sure if they were on some timer but they would turn on and off at random times.
The breakfast at Country Inn & Suites was exceptional for being a continental breakfast. They had hot breakfast items such as eggs, sausage, potatoes; as well as cereal, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, etc. Really nice breakfast and above and beyond what we were expecting. We also enjoyed the pool and that they have "adult hours"... from 10pm-midnight no kids are allowed, and I don't think I've even stayed at a hotel where the pool is open to midnight! One night during our stay we went to the pool and we had it all to ourselves!
All in all a really great place to stay in Traverse City. I will add after seeing another review that the sign is hard to see at night from the road; I think they need a better sign or brighter lights... a couple times we drove past the hotel and had to turn around because we couldn't see the sign after dark.
