We booked this specifically because of the jacuzzi and the fireplace - a romantic weekend to close our summer in the area. The room was clean, comfortable, and what we were looking for. We had planned to eat out, so the lack of a breakfast was not an issue ( and we knew before hand). Posh it is not, but it was perfect for our retreat.

The room was clean, but whoever designed the layout obviously had no concerns about privacy. If traveling alone, there is no problem but if you are with someone else, the sink and counter are in the same room as the bed and tv. Skimpy towels; only shampoo and lotion and then not replenished on the second day. Small skinny pillows. I was also quoted a rate on the phone that ended up being $20 more when we arrived. Our traveling companions did not get their room cleaned and by the time we returned, it was too late for housekeeping to rectify. Very disappointing.

This was our first trip to Traverse City and it was one of the spur of the moments things. It was in the heart the busy season. There were not a lot of other options in town so we really did not have any choice. There is no in room WIFI. The room we stayed in had a jacuzzi which was an added benefit. There was no complimentary breakfast. I will shop around the next time I travel in this area because there are a lot other options. Not saying this was bad place, next time I travel in this area, I will plan accordingly.

Reserved room online during film fest at a rate of 165.00. Were surprised to find we were given a handicapped room. When I asked why and if perhaps there had been a mistake everything took a turn for the worst. We were told that because we booked online we had no recourse and there was nothing that they could do. There were other rooms available but were told for this rate they could do nothing. When asked if they would be more accomodating if I had booked directly she said yes. When I asked if they would rather the room go unrented than put us in it she said they had till midnight to fill it and it would be no problem. Unprofessional and Rude on so many levels. To make a long story less so, we gave them the keys and checked into a Fairfield Inn and lived happily ever after...
