“Great view and staff, but rooms need renovating.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

They have a great beach and lots of beach chairs to relax in. The price is usually pretty reasonable. The only problem I have is that the beds are less then comfortable, it's hard to get the room the right temp due to it being a wall unit. It just needs to be renovated. Overall, we have stayed there many times because the view is great and the staff is very nice and helpful.

Decided to try Parkshore again after staying with them about 5 years ago - excellent stay back then. The Staff was super friendly and the hotel and rooms were very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. We were a little disappointed that Breakfast was not included, it was an extra charge of $5.95. Not a lot, but for what we paid for the rooms, we felt waffles, bagels or donuts would have been easy enough to provide.
What we found most disappointing was the other guests rudely letting doors slam shut and talking very loudly in the halls after the 10pm "quite time" the hotel has posted in their guidelines; and out at the firepit, the party was still going strong at 1:45am, even though the guidelines state the firepit area closes at Midnight. I was very disappointed that someone from the Hotel Staff did not bother to say anything to these guests.

This was a great location and the hotel was clean and unpretentious. Not luxurious — just really, really good value for the money. Friendly staff helped arrange transport around town and to the golf courses. We were there to celebrate my sister's birthday on the Ale Trail. Really enjoyable way to spend a day tasting the nuanced differences between differnt breweries ales, Ripa, doubles, sours, … I had a bay side room which I recommend — the view, the beach, the water, the air and the sound are SOOOOO worth it

My family stayed here last weekend for the first time. The staff was friendly, the room clean and comfortable with a balcony facing their fantastic beach on East Bay. We all had a great night's sleep and woke to a gorgeous sunrise over the bay. What a great way to start a relaxing weekend in TC! We'll definitely be back in the summer to take advantage of the beach and bonfire!

Enjoyed our stay. Wonderful view of the bay, close enough to the water to hear the waves at night. Clean resort with friendly staff. The lounge had a nice atmosphere. Stayed in the jacuzzi suite. Would have liked a little more luxury from a suite and could have used a little updating, but all in all was not displeased.

Room Tip: The extra cost to have a room facing the bay is well worth it!
