“Comfortable place. Well located.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013 via mobile

Very nice place located in the heart of wine country. Breakfasts were very, very good. It was plenty to eat and a nice variety the three days we stayed. The Paris room was well decorated, clean and spacious. Jim and Linda were great hosts and not at all intrusive. We look forward to staying at Korner Kottage again.

My husband and I have been to the Korner Kottage twice and each time enjoyed every minute of our stay. The food was great, the room was very clean and all of the little touches that Jim and Linda add to their establishment make it well worth the seven hour drive! We can't wait until next summer for another trip to Suttons Bay and the Korner Kottage.

My wife and I stayed at the Korner Kottage on 7/31/13 on our way to Canada. It was our first time staying at a B and B and it won't be our last. Jim and Linda are great hosts and the home is very warm and inviting. We stayed in the Paris room which was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We would recommend the Korner Kottage to anybody visiting the Suttons Bay area.

We enjoyed our stay at Korner Kottage very much. Jim and Linda were great hosts and thought of many things to help us enjoy our time there.
We will remember our delicious breakfasts in their beautiful garden when we get tired of our long winter. We already look at our pictures on our phones to enjoy that experience from a distance. Suttons Bay is a wonderful place to visit and we enjoyed our tour of M22 around Leelanau County.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Porch Room which was very nice.

My husband and I stayed here this past week after we got married. It was the perfect get-away after all of the craziness of the wedding. Jim and Linda are very accommodating and our room was clean and cozy. The breakfasts are very tasty and filling - enjoyed outside in their beautiful garden (weather permitting). We have taken many trips to the leelanau peninsula and this was by far the best place we have stayed at. I will be recommending the Korner Kottage to family and friends.

We stayed at this lovely B&B from July 10-12 for our first vacation to Suttons Bay. The last few times we drove through the area we spotted this B&B and loved the location. Based upon the recommendations on TripAdvisor and from family members, we happily made plans to stay here a few nights. Needless to say, I wish we had been able to stay longer! The Korner Kottage is welcoming, cozy, relaxing and within walking distance to just about everything. We stayed in the Porch Room on the first night (first floor room/queen bed with a large, private detached bath) and the Paris Room (second floor/king bed with a private bath) the following two nights. Both rooms were fantastic. The sheets are soft, the rooms smell GOOD (none of that musty-hotel room smell that's hard to shake off of your clothes at the chains) and the bathrooms were impeccably clean. Small touches throughout each room made us feel right at home (but better!)--unique decor, wine glasses, chocolates on the bed, books, and cool glass bottles of water in the in-room fridges.

Sadly, we had to leave very early on our third morning there and were not able to have breakfast with the other guests. However, the two breakfasts we did have were great. Each of us started with freshly cut fruit, yogurt and their homemade granola with your choice of juice, coffee, water, etc. We also had the pleasure of experiencing the baked apple pancakes and veggie strata with various sides of sausages and/or chocolate croissants. It was enough food to keep us going well until dinner time! Jim and Linda were very friendly and were ready to make a recommendation or answer any questions (and plenty of information all throughout the cottage). I think we have been so spoiled that we will never want to stay at another hotel again. We definitely enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this place. Kudos to the owners--great job!

Room Tip: Like anywhere else you stay, there are going to be some noises. Both the Porch Room and Paris Room f...

My partner and I stayed at Korner Kottage in mid-June 2013. The owners/hosts Jim and Linda were wonderful! Very accommodating, friendly, and warm. Nestle (the dog) was so cute and well-behaved. Breakfast was delicious and we lucked out and got to eat every morning outside in the garden. My only gripe is that our room (Leelanau Room) sat adjacent to the owner's apartment and kitchen, so we felt our privacy was infringed upon (slightly), especially because our bathroom shared a common wall (as well as an old doorway that was locked) with the kitchen where Jim and Linda cooked each morning. I think next time we will pick a different room because we will definitely go back in the future.

Room Tip: Leelanau room is noisy in the morning
