“ask for less oil on fried rice - AMAZING FLAVOR!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2014

This Thai place is a favorite of mine, but very often (especially on carry-out), their veggie fried rice is swimming in a shallow pool of oil. This past week, I finally (duh) asked them to use less oil and the result was amazing. Best veggie fried rice anywhere (and I have travelled a lot).

My co-workers (including some vegetarians) are always pleased with their carry-outs here - huge portions.

I like very spicy food, and the "medium plus" is hotter than the same rating at most other metro area Thai places.

“Curry Fried Rice - WoW !!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2014

Hung Cafe has the best best best Thai food I have ever tasted (and trust me I have been to a lot). They make delicious Curry fried rice (my secret : ask them to add extra curry), definitely a 'Must Taste'. And the quantity is surplus. Sure shot restaurant whenever I am hungry and in no mood to experiment :) You will never be disappointed. Enjoy.

“Really Great Thai”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

The food here is really really good. I have been going for a few years, but just recently started to try other items on the menu. The Pad Almond was my normal go to, but the Pud Thai and Pud Se Ew are also quite good. I just tried the Bangkok Fried Rice and the Green Curry is another good choice. All in all I have yet to try something I didn't like! Also come for lunch and get the best Egg Drop soup around.

Great food, large portions, good prices, friendly service, what more could you want. The fried rice and the satay were excellent. The hot spice is very hot

“go early to get a table for lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2011

I used to work near this location, and visited frequently for lunch.
Quality of the food is consistently excellent and portions are ample. Each dish is freshly prepared to order. Highly recommend any version of their Thai fried rice, (veggie fried rice is the best I've eaten anywhere) and their cachew chicken. Most dishes can be prepared mild, medium or hot; if you like hot, this is the place that can do it for you.
Restaurant is small (maybe 20 tables? and wheelchair accessible); atmosphere is nothing special, but food is outstanding.
During lunch, there is always a line out the door after about 12:15, so go early or be prepared to wait.
Our office frequently ordered carry out: the food was well packed and travelled well; however if they say it will be ready in "20 minutes" plan on 30 minutes.
