“Absolutely enchanting!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2004

This is one of the most charming B&Bs to be found in Michigan. Set in an adorable town, this B&B is absolutely gorgeous! Although very expensive, the rooms look as if they are from a storybook. The staff was incredibly friendly and sweet, and the foods (both breakfast, snacks, and eveing hors'doevres) were exquisite! The private nooks, both inside and outside simply exuded tranquility and romance for my husband and me. We went there for a romantic getaway from our baby twins, and the staff was very helpful in making that happen! They even helped my husband arrange a lavish vase of roses welcoming me to our room there. I highly recommend it for special occasions!

It has no swimming pool, no hot tub and is very stuffy. Good thing this lady has money t keep this B&B going or it would have folded a long time ago. I WOULD RATHER STAY AT THE TWIN GABLES OR SHERWOOD FOREST B&B THEY ARE A LOT MORE COMFORTABLE PLACES TO STAY!!!THANK-YOU BILL PETERS

Welcome to Wickwood! Perfectly placed in the heart of Saugatuck’s Historic District, our Inn is prodigious – providing you with more privacy than a Bed and Breakfast and more pampering than a Boutique Hotel. We can’t wait for you to experience the difference of life at Wickwood! We are smitten by the fresh flavors of the seasons, and we’re serious about celebrating local food. Everyday we serve our owner and Silver Palate Cookbook author’s distinctive Champagne Brunch, candlelit Evening Hors d’oeuvres, and Scrumptious Sweets. All of this is complimentary because we adore the cheer that comes from sharing good food and wine seasoned with a generous dash of laughter. As you step outside our doors, the charm of our coastal Village awaits. With its pristine beaches, award winning art galleries, unique boutiques and intriguing historic interests … you may be unable to resist life in Saugatuck! ... more   less
