We and another couple spent two nights here. We were in the Chardonay room, which was a decent size, and nice bath, but our frineds were in Petit Syrahh and they had problems with the small size, door on the bathroom got stuck, and it was noisy. We had a white noise machine by our bed, so we had no problems with noise. I suggested my friends turn on the bathroom fan and that noise helped drown out the other stuff. Breakfast is not available until nine, and so on the second day we did not get food because we had to leave by 8 am. But the location was fine, and we had a good time in Saugatuck.

We stayed one night on 7-30-13. We had the Bourdeax room, 2nd floor. Room small but efficient with a tv ... rare for a B&B. The grounds are well kept and inviting but the mosquitoes drove us away quickly. The inn is very nice and a good value for this area. Breakfast was adequate but nicely presented. Not much interaction with staff except upon check in. The gal was business-like and non personal. We would stay again.

Room Tip: 2nd floor location would be best. Main floor rooms are too close to outside door.

Nice location and the walk to downtown is only a few minutes. We stayed in the Riesling Room, cute and cozy with a private bath. Our only complaint was the room quite a tilt to it, understandable due to the age of the Inn. Our host was very pleasant and the breakfast was decent. We spent an afternoon in the pool and enjoyed the company of other guests.

we stayed here for 2 night with the family (2 adults + 2 kids 16 and 18). Rooms are all small but comfortable for spending the night. Showers are a challange due to size. Breakfast just okay. Internet available but not always functional at the rooms itself

Excellent location. Pretty house. They lent us beach chairs for the day. They also had bikes to borrow. We were there for 3 nights over the fourth of July. Our room was upstairs. It was quite warm. Room was Very pretty but tiny. Wicker Furniture was very uncomfortable. . No place to hang clothes . Barely enough room for the suitcases. Window did not stay up. Had to use a book to keep it open. A/c was poor. Bathroom was so tiny .. We were told the rooms had wireless when we booked. This is not really true. We constantly lost connections if we even were able to connect. When we asked about this we were told that they were sorry but there was better connections in the lobby..This is true however we were mislead. Breakfast is not served until 9.. Coffee comes out at 8. Breakfast was not up to par.. Food was just okay . Pastries were good but egg dishes not so great. They do accommodate if you don't like the entree. My husband asked for english muffins. Both days they were served barely toasted . Just warm. I guess we were lucky to find a place but the details matter to us...

The Inn is cute, comfortable and conveniently located about a half mile from downtown Saugatuck and a half mile from downtown Douglas. We stayed in the Merlot Room on first floor which was comfortable, but the canopy bed did not seem very sturdy. The room has a thin door and is adjacent to the lobby and the Champagne room and steps from the dining area and hall to the pool, so if you're looking for quiet and privacy you may want to select a different room. The air conditioning is on full blast so we covered the air vents. The breakfast is nothing to brag about - it did not taste homemade like you would expect from a B&B.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Merlot room which is on first floor, right next to the lobby and within a few steps...

We stayed at Twin Gables while exploring the shops downtown. The breakfast was superb and the room very comfy with new bathroom fixtures. We controlled the cold air conditioning that someone previously mentioned by simply closing the ceiling vent down a bit. It was hard to tell that we were in an 1865 building as so much redecorating had been done. We would definitely stay here again. Most of the downtown stores opened at 10 am so the 9 am breakfast did not bother us. The price was a little less than most B & B's in Saugatuck and we were quite satisfied with the service for the price. The WIFI worked fine and we have no complaints. Ample parking and it was less than 4 minutes to drive downtown and only 20 minutes to Holland! On Wednesday's and Saturday's Holland has a huge outdoor Farmers Market with great prices on fruit, vegetables, flowers, garden plants, and more. We had a blast!
