“Fantastic breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

Toni, the owner gave us a warm welcome with a history of the house (built in the 1850's) and valuable information about the Saugatuck area. Our room was perfect and the homemade full breakfasts were absolutely fantastic. We originally thought we would breakfast at individual tables on the screened porch, but the other guests were so friendly that we ate with them at the large table in the dining room. We stayed in the Susan B.Anthony room which had an enclosed porch with a hot tub. When we were there it was very quiet at night. From the Park House you can walk to the shops, waterfront and restaurants of Saugatuck. It's a great place for a special occasion.

Stayed one night hoping to get away and de-stress. Lovely Inn with Toni, Dick and dg Penny. Toni is a lovely talented lady. Enjoyed the Winnie room's comforts. It was delightful. Was a little cranky when the upstairs suite had young children running and jumping but I got over it. Toni's breakfast spread is amazingly full of choices! Lovely kitchen, comfortable, inviting. We will visit again. Thanks much Toni!

My wife and I spent two nights in the Park House Inn. We highly recommend due to Tony's expertise in the kitchen, care for the room amenities and knowledge of the goings-on. The Winnie suite, ok, we were sort of expecting the Pooh and were pleasantly surprised by the mature thoughtfulness that went into making the suite inviting and relaxing. Bravo, Tony we look forward to a return visit!

Room Tip: If you like walking and exploring shops, galleries, waterfront with beach or on-the-water experience...

one of the few places that allow dogs to stay in Saugatuck, this B&B was located within walking distance of downtown. The cottage was a little dated but still very nice and clean. As with most of Saugatuck they were very accomodating to my dogs.

We had a nice weekend get away at the Park House Inn. We chose Sagatuck because 1) we have never been there and 2) we had to go to a wedding in a near by town. Being experienced B & Bers we were looking for something special. The Park House seemed like it would be that. The inn is located in a quiet residential area just a short walk to town. As with most B&Bs it is a bit frilly but that is to be expected. The inn is clean and well maintained with coffe, tea and snacks always available. As said we are experienced with B&Bs as well as the breakfast part. The Park House's breakfast rates very high.
We stayed in the Susan B. Anthony suite. I guess it is called a suite because it has a door leading to a porch which featured a good size jacuzzi style tub. The porch is billed as private and by and large it is however the privacy is provide by a latticed covering on the sides and a door which opens to the front porch at the end. The door is open at the top and bottom. A person really wanting to look in the porch could but they would have to really want to. We used and enjoyed the tub after a day of touring and the wedding.
I feel the rates are a bit high but then it is one of Michigan's premier resort areas and the inns in Saugatuck are usually booked, supply and demand I guess. Would we stay there again and/or recommend this place...yes

The final count was in--10 of us for a much anticipated weekend getaway. Toni was a gem in reserving the rooms that we would be happy with. We had the Loft, Minnie, Pearl and H.D. Moore Suites. The location of the Inn is perfect to the quaint town of Saugatuck, lots of shopping and what girl doesn't like to shop!!
A delicious breakfast was served at a long table in the kitchen. The Inn was booked, therefore, 2 extra table/chairs were set up as well. There is a nice front porch & covered back porch that would be nice to use during the summer months.
Thanks, Toni for hosting us...we'll be back for sure

Room Tip: The Loft has a very narrow, spiral staircase to get to. Can be tricky, especially with luggage, so...

This was our first visit to Saugatuck and what a wonderful experience. Staying at the Park House Inn was a perfect start to the weekend. Toni is the most gracious host. She is full of information for first time visitors. She truly is interested in her visitors and making their stay a memorable one. The Inn was beautiful and very clean. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The Inn is within walking distance to town, which is very convenient. We will definitely be going back to stay at the Park House Inn.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Winnie Suite and it was very comfortable, roomy and had a quaint balcony to enjoy.
