“worth the drive!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

This was our first time trying pasties. We found Lehto's based on other reviews from Trip Advisor. The man behind the counter was not very friendly but the pasty was amazing! The pastry was flaky and golden brown, the beef filling was steaming hot and full of flavor. I'm glad we took the time to find Lehto's.

“Holy YUM!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

Thanks to TripAdvisor for steering me to this little place. I've always thought of pasties as dry and bland, but this was something else entirely - flaky crust, juicy interior, perfectly spiced meat. This place does one thing and does it well. And after spending tons of cash everywhere else, it was startling to pay only $5.50 for a slice of heaven. I got one fresh to eat on the road and got one frozen to take home and eat later - I wish I'd bought many more!

“Amazing.”

Rediculously tasty. Pure yum. Charming counter with kind service. No other sides or choices necessary-which is good because there aren't any :)

“Best Pasty Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

You know you've hit a good restaurant, when they've been in business for over half a century and they have only one thing on their menu. I have had several pasties in the past and been extremely unimpressed....dry and no flavor. On a recent trip, a friend made us stop here on the way through the UP (as he always stops here). I was skeptical, but the pasties made my mouth sing!!!!!!!! They do have a cooler of beverages that you can wash down your pasty wtih

There are no seats to sit down, so you either eat on the run or spend some time in the parking lot walking about talking with your friend while you enjoy this wonderful Upper Peninsula meal.

“Original Back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

there are new owners. The original recipe has been restored. The crust is flaky and the meat content has a nice blend. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
