Stayed at the Marriott before an early morning flight to CA. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was very good for a light meal. Beds are very comfortable with great pillows. Shuttle available to DTW. Computers are located in the lobby.

When staying in Detroit for an early morning flight out of DTW or coming in for a late arrival at DTW, one of the best accommodation is the Marriott Courtyard in Romulus, Michigan, about 5 minutes from the airport. They have shuttle buses to the airport, but no complimentary breakfast. A Bob Evan's restaurant is conveniently located about 200 ft. from the hotel. For an extended vacation, they have a Park and Fly Package whereby you stay overnight at the hotel, then park your car at the Airlines Parking next door, and pick your car up when you come back. The hotel is up to the Marriott standard for a Courtyard hotel, and is very convenient. Try it, and you won't be disappointed.

Room was spacious and wifi excellent

Stayed for a quick night sleep prior to a flight out of DTW. Place is easy to get to, very nice staff and lobby area. The room itself was very comfortable, bed was great and shower water pressure was good. Toilet, well it's not a power flusher and we will leave it that.
Only negative was we had a first floor room facing the outside of the building that was near the lobby. We could hear every conversation coming down the hallway and the jets flying over head. So my advice would be get a room at the end of the hall to cut the conversation noise, and a room facing inwards to help with the jet noise.
We would stay here again, very comfey, easy to get to, nice staff.

Room Tip: Far end of the hallway, facing the inside of the building to cut down on noise.

I've stayed at this Courtyard a few times now and have never been disappointed! Upon my late evening check-in, I was greeted by an extremely friendly manager, Nikko. Check-in was fast and efficient and full of laughs.

The room was very comfortable and what you would expect of a Courtyard. Sofabed, desk area, large LCD TV, vanity area and a basic but clean bathroom. Bed was clean and comfy... almost too soft, but I still slept extremely well. Wi-Fi worked great. Apparently there is a faster 'high-speed' version than the free version, for a small daily fee, but I found the complimentary Wi-Fi more than adequate.

When I checked out early the next morning, I again was greeted with smiles and laughter from the two ladies at the front desk. Just a pleasant way to start the day as far as I'm concerned.

As I said, I have stayed here a few times and have also stayed a number of times at the Marriott Romulus which is right next door. I like both places, but honestly, I think I like the Courtyard a little bit better. Just seems a little more updated, with a nice ambiance, great staff and rooms.

I will DEFINITELY stay here again if possible on my next trip here.

Left high and dry for a reserved Meeting Room thirteen hours before a planned event by Holiday Inn Express, Chelsea, MI, Neiko and her staff arranged for a Meeting Room and all equipment necessary to conduct our meeting and were ready at 6:00 am. The staff continued to provide all support necessary for several very successful meetings the following three weeks. Staff is more than friendly, and more importantly, focused with a sense of urgency to meet the customer's needs. Great place to arrange meetings for any size group. Excellent service!!

I did not get a chance to spend a lot of time here but what I did was great. My flight got cancelled, they have free shuttle to and from airport. The price was half of what the hotel at the airport charged. My room was clean and comfortable and the check-in staff was very helpful and friendly after a long day.
