Description: Established in 2005.O'Connor's was designed and built by the Prairie Pub Company, one of only five Guinness approved authentic Irish pub builders in the world. The finished pub was shipped to the States and reassembled in the historical downtown district of Rochester Michigan.Stop by and enjoy some of the of history in this Irish pub. Some particular items to take special notice of are the floor located in the main bar area dating back more than 140 years, also the the stone wall separating the dinning area from the bar was once an exterior wall, now recovered offering a soft rustic feel. You will also notice stain glass and wrought iron in the pub which was harvested from crumbling churches through out Ireland.

Poor drinks. Cold beer! Stop the Sunday brunch, kills the bar atmosphere. Can't get the regular menu when the buffet is up.

“Great Irish food without having to travel to Ireland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2008

For excellent Irish food, Gus O'Connors in Rochester, Michigan, is the place to go. Decorated inside, reminiscent of an Irish pub, O'Connors is the next best thing to being there. Since we've traveled to Ireland and know what authentic Irish cuisine is like, we can say without reservation that the food at this restaurant is excellent, having had the fish & chips and also the potato boxties. Service is good and prices are very reasonable. Several evenings per week Gus's has live Irish music and entertainment, although we've not been there during those times. There is also a Gus O'Connors in Novi, Michigan, which had their bar built and shipped over from Ireland. We found the Novi Gus's a wee bit more "Irish" looking, but didn't find the food or service quite as good. After your meal at the Rochester Gus's, be sure to check out downtown Rochester. It's a cute little town, where you actually see residents enjoying their evening walks downtown.
