“Best coffee in Rochester”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013 via mobile

My favorite stop from the paint creek trail. Always get myself a coffee. They use the same machine in Italy and the coffee is excellent.

“Good local cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

Went to this little cafe in Rochester last week for lunch. Portions are large and can easily be shared. Lots of Michigan products from Up North. Sandwich was excellent. Could be a little faster on service but if you want a nice leisurely lunch I would recommend this as a quaint cafe in the city.

“Delicious, but had to wait”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

Went there today, and had a delicious Roma sandwich for $7.95 (great option for vegetarians): sliced Roma tomatoes, organic basil, minced garlic, balsamic vinaigrette, parmesan, provolone, and lettuce on grilled bread. It tasted great! There are many sandwiches, pizzas, and salads to choose from. Just go up to the counter to order. It's a nice little place to eat, but not if you're in a rush. That was the only issue, they told us it would take 20 minutes for our 2 sandwiches and 1 salad (it was not very busy when we ordered either), but it ended up taking at least 30 minutes or more. You could see they only had one cook in the back, they should really have 2 working. Other than that, it was really tasty.

“Excellent quality food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013 via mobile

They have excellent pizzas here and very good food over all. Yes the prices are little higher but you are paying for quality.

Atmosphere is a little confusing you need to go to the counter to order, not clear when you walk in.

Love their signature pizza!

“Our special little treat on weekends”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

This is a cozy, fun, neighborhood cafe. The food is a bit pricey, but the flavors of everything we have had so far are special. Very fresh ingredients. Lots of light pouring in large windows, and the staff are terrific - won't even let you tip! Our favorites so far are the Sonoma sandwich (with phenomenal artisan pumpernickle bread lightly grilled), fresh fruit smoothies mixed with yoghurt, The Greek pizza, and the very large Greek salad. The pizzas have this unusual dough with twisted strips around the outside and also terrific special flavors. Haven't been there in warmer weather yet when you can sit outside. Now advertising they are expanding to Birmingham, Ann Arbor, and Traverse City. They also have take-out.
