I was looking for another restaurant, which turned out to be closed, so the local Chamber of Commerce folks directed me here. At first I wondered what they were thinking because I clearly had a baby in a stroller. The entrance looked like a dark bar. But, as it turns out they have two patios, one covered, one not. We were seated in the covered patio section which was the best place to be on this hot, sunny day. It was eating al fresco without the sidewalk traffic.
Immediately upon seating us they placed a basket of warm freshly baked thin French bread at our table, so I had something to feed the 15 month old while I perused the menu. Well, reading the menu doesn't take very long here. The menu is very limited. They have about 5 salads and 6 sandwich items. You have your burger, your wrap, your vegetarian...you get the picture. I ended up settling on the wrap.
The portion sizes were large and the server came back frequently to refill my drink. I noticed someone else ordered a salad, and it was huge. I wouldn't say that the food was great, but it was OK. The French bread that was placed at our table however way too salty. It's not too often than your bread is saltier than your fries.
I wouldn't come back to this place with any picky eaters because the menu is way too limited. I would visit them again to dine on the patio though and perhaps give one of their salads a try.
