Greek Islands is a new restaurant in downtown Plymouth. It is located in a building formerly occupied by a bank, with 30' ceilings and huge windows, which somehow manages to be both very open and cozy. The first thing you'll notice when you come in is the friendly staff; everyone is ready with a smile and greeting. There are some large-screen televisions on the walls, but the sound is down so they are not obtrusive.
We have been to Greek Islands three times in the past two weeks, twice for lunch and once for breakfast. Both times, we were seated promptly despite it being quite busy. Our server took and filled our drink order without delay. The menu is what you would expect for a greek / coney island restaurant, but I think the prices are a bit more moderate than some, particularly considering the location downtown. The portions are very generous and the food is delicious!
The biggest reason I will return again and again to Greek Islands is the service. I have a pet-peeve about a nearly empty or empty glass sitting on the table; if it's empty and you bring me a new one, take the old one away! I found real teamwork at Greek Islands; of course our server kept things in order, but others refreshed drinks, cleared glasses and plates (thank you!), and made our experince great.
If you are in Plymouth, give Greek Islands a try... you'll find a delicious meal and friendly service every time!
