“Not Just a Bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2012

The best Olive Burger in Northern Michigan:) It may be bar fare on the menu but all of it is freshly cooked and tastes great..although, not less filling...lol

“You won't be disappointed. Not a tourist trap.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2011

We literally pulled off the main road into the parking lot with our truck & travel trailer because it looked convenient as we were passing through town. What a great surprise! Friendly people, great food with lots of variety and great beer on tap! What's not to like! We had the Italian meatloaf sandwich & the whitefish sandwich accompanied by a Oberon wheat beer. From there they told us where we could find a non-tourist trap rock shop where we found a great selection of Petoskey stones. We love the UP!

“Energized eatery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2011 via mobile

Don't go here if you crave quiet intimacy. It is full of bustle and clatter, a lively sports bar, complete with big screen TVs which provide much of the light in the room. It is very crowded during ski season. The burgers are remarkable. The place is vibrant and upbeat. It is a family favorite.

“What a great surprise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2011

From the outside of this restaurant, I was not expecting much, but it was recommended on Trip Advisor and also by a person at our hotel. So, we went for dinner after a long day of skiing. Wow. We were so happy with it! Once inside we thought it was very nicely decorated. Just something different. It was lively and fun. The music was wonderful and relaxing while upbeat. There were large tvs on the walls with a game of some kind on, but no sound, so it was perfect. They have very creative dishes and yet they still had the basics for the kids of mac n cheese. The owner even came over and introduced himself to us while we were there. It was just such a nice experience! We will certainly be back.
