We stayed at this KOA for one night in August on a trip to Mackinaw Island. We were going to tent camp. It was a cold and windy day. When we went to check in, the person working upgraded us to a 1 room cabin for the same price as a tent site since the weather was nasty. This was our first time in a KOA Cabin and we were very pleasantly surprised at how nice it was and it was pet friendly! The next morning I found out that the person who upgraded was the owner of the campground. We will definitely be back to this campground as it was extremely clean and the facilities were top notch.
