You must have the patty melt sandwich and onion rings - the best ever. Casual, fun place for the whole family. All you can eat Fish Fry Friday night.

“Good Find in Downtown Lark Lake”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

A great little homey place with friendly staff and customers.
Everyone seemed to be there for a good time.
Tried their Ribs and Shrimp combo. Excellent.
Whitefish is as good as any up this way.
Out of the way, but well worth it.

“Best Bar Food in Northern Michigan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

Who would think that tucked away on a Northern Michigan back-road, you'd find one of the best dining experiences around??? Moosejaw (the former Larks Lake Bar) is known for many things. A great friday night fish fry... tasty pizza... cold beer... and some really yummy deep fried green beans. But what's most unique about this place in Northern Michigan is it's service and consistency. You know what you're getting and you can be sure it's always the same and exactly as you want it. This is a weekly stop for residents and a must-do for vacationers and tourists.

“Don't blink”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

What a great place to cool down and nosh-up in July. (There’s snowmobile parking for winter.) Everything you’d like in a roadside place in the wilds of northern Michigan. It’s well known to the locals, but they welcome outlanders. This is the type of place you hope never goes away, and the type of place you hope to stumble upon whenever you’re exploring unfamiliar places.
Dr. Scott says: Fire up the GPS, and check it out if you’re in the neighborhood.

“Great food for a little place out of the way ......”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

If you like peanut butter pie, it's a nice add on treat to your meal!
Fun little local place with a good variety of food. Summer salads made it easy for me as a vegetarian, kids loved the cheeseburger and chicken fingers. Good fries, yummy onion rings and the rest of our party enjoyed their fish, burgers and pizza.
Side note - the locals have AT&T for their cell service, my Verizon gave me no service at Moose Jaw junction. Just so you know.
