I cruised Paw Paw looking for a dining spot after reading all the reviews. After passing on a few scary looking places, I thought I had a winner. I walked in and a waitress said someone would be right with me. Then the hostess said she would be right with me. That means about 5 minutes; then they let me select my table??? Nice decor and view of the lake out the window. I should know cause I stared out it for about 10 minutes before my waitress came back. I would have left at that point, but I was tired and didn't fell like driving anymore. Finally I got my menu and asked to hear the specials. My drink came shortly after, and long after the waitress took my order for the special, chicken parm. Wine list was decent. The meal came in short time. Salad was excellent, with the house dressing. The salad dish had 4 slices of bread staffed on it. The quarter stick of butter chuck was in a small bowl; odd presentation. The chicken was cooked perfect, but the red sauce left something to be desired. Had a sweet taste.
I liked the meal, but the service was agonizing. On a Wednesday night this happened; can't imagine the weekends. Good luck if you try this cantina.
