“Fresh fish and good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2014 via mobile

Visited based on TA reviews. The whitefish was very fresh and taste was quite decent. We enjoyed quick service and good pickles. Wanted to try their whitefish dip, but they were out of it, so we had the trout dip instead. I think we would have enjoyed the whitefish dip better. Service was quick and friendly.

“YUM”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2014

Brown's is a must stop every year!!

Great to walk in and be greeted as a regular - even if it's only once a year. It is a place to easily drive by because it doesn't offer a lot of frills - you come for the fish!! The whole place maybe seats 30-50.

Owned by a Father & his son & daughter who are also the fisherman, cook and waitstaff. Cathy is also an artist and it's her paintings on the wall.

Amazing whitefish with a very light batter and love you can get either baked potato or French fries.

We arrived at 4:50 on a Tuesday and had to wait for a table - the place was packed - the whole time we were there it was a steady stream if customers. We didn't stay to chat because by 6:15 the line was again out the door.

In the area for another week might have to go back!!

“Best Fish we've ever had.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2014

Mouth watering, amazing, light, we are still talking about it. Make the drive, it's so worth it. We didn't have the chowder, but had the fried mushrooms, and they were incredible. Yum. Waitresses were so kind and sweet.

“Best.Fish.Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014 via mobile

I'll be honest here. This place is a hole in the wall. We've been coming here for years & I'm very picky when it comes to fish. I'm not really into fried fish either. Let me just say this is the best Whitefish I've ever had & I'm not kidding. Don't go within an hour of Paradise without making the drive. You will not be disappointed & as a matter of a fact you will probably be upset that you live so far away. Delicious.

“Tasty whitefish!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014 via mobile

The whitefish was very tasty. Unfortunately they were out of the chowder. We found out they don't always make it. We were fortunate to get seated. It is not a very big place and a lot of people had to wait - especially large groups. The staff hustles and we were served very quickly and it was very hot! So plan to get there for dinner early or be prepared to wait. There isn't a very large parking area either.
