“Yummy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Great pasties and friendly service. Pasties were delicious with lots of gravy- you may want to ask for gravy on the side.

Passed Baba-Ruski a couple of times on my way to Alpena and stopped in for some pastys to go. They were great!

“Thumbs down :(”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013 via mobile

We recently spent the weekend in northern Michigan and decided to eat every meal out. This was the first place we tried and we were disappointed. We ordered breakfast- 2 eggs over easy, bacon, hash browns, toast. Eggs were over hard, bacon was burned in the edges and undercooked in the middle ( grill up too high?), hash browns were burned on top and actually cold in the middle (frozen hash browns?). Waitress was stressed and rather grumpy. Not a good start to our weekend. Doubt we'll go back.

“Large portions”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

Most of the food is nothing special, but you won't leave hungry. I liked the sausage omelet, and the cabbage soup was the best ever.
