We went there on NY Eve with a 6:45 p.m. reservation we made through Open Table. Arrived around 6:30 p.m. and we were seated by 6:45. Had a drink in the bar while waiting where the service was fast and friendly.
My date had an acorn squash sort of dish which she couldn't say enough about. I had the chicken cordon bleu, which was truly exceptional. I've never imagined it could be as good as it was. It had an egg on top (sunny side up) which I thought was odd. A server told me it made the dish more moist. I don't know the story, but it was terrific. The portions were generous. We took home the leftovers, which were enough for a meal the next day.
This place is always good and a real favorite. Cost for the two meals was $44 + tip (not including the bar bill we had before we sat down).
