“Nice place with good rates.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

I stayed here a few times and I've also stayed at higher-priced motels in iron Mountain. This one beats them all. The rooms are spotless clean, the beds are comfortable, and it is fairly quiet. The continental breakfast is okay and it comes with the room. It'll save you the time of looking for a breakfast restaurant. All in all this is a very nice place to stay.

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from the pool on the first floor. I don't think there is an elevator. If...

If you to party this is your place .You can run the halls scream and in general do as you like because the staff doesn't CRARE. So all you party people be sure to plan you vacation here. But don't plan sleep your nights away as that will not happen

As you can see by other guests reviews we are a nice, quiet, clean friendly place to stay. The staff DOES care! Once the staff was aware of what was happening on the 2nd floor it was immediatly taken care of. Please be sure to read all other satisfied guest reviews.
Thank you.

I've had a chance to spend a week at this hotel. All the staff is fantastic. Very clean. New owner who is very friendly and helpful. Pretty sound proof rooms. Nice pool area with hot tub and Jacuzzi too. Breakfast has good selection free and includes hot food. Great economical choice and close to all the attractions including the race way and Norway Mountain.

Room Tip: Wooded side is quite even though close to main road.

We were driving from Saint Paul MN to The Traverse Bay Area, and came to Norway at the end of the day. This is a sparsely populated area, with none of the familiar road trip motels to be found. Other Trip Advisor reviewers had positive reviews which proved accurate, and they led us to the Norway Inn. It has sort of a small town feeling with friendly staff. There is a nice, typical, self serve breakfast. Our room was spotless, as well as the bathroom. We asked for a room on the back side , which gave us a very quiet, good night's sleep. And the bonus was the reasonable rate. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we were in this area.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the back side, next to the woods.

Thought I was getting a two room king suite with fireplace and whirlpool as shown on the website. Ended up with a two room one king and one pull out couch. Room was clean and quiet. Good set up for families. Pool on website says "oversized" but was cramped with five adults and three kids. Smushed cricket and a huge used bandaid on the pool deck. The pool chairs appeared as though a very heavy person stretched the seat to the ground and was on the verge of breaking. Breakfast was good. No service at the front desk.

Room Tip: Don't book online, call for reservations to ensure you get what you ask for.

My husband and I stayed here this last Saturday night after spending the day snowmobiling with friends. Check in was fast. The person at the desk was friendly. The room was clean, which is always the most important thing to us.

Sleeping was a little challenging since there was some sort of family reunion with kids running up and down the halls until the late hours of the night, but that certainly wasn't the hotel's fault. We would definitely stay here again the next time we snowmobile in the Norway/Iron Mountain area.
