We arrived at this Inn late, after a very long drive. Upon arrival we were suprised that the place looked rundown, not beautiful like the photo of the exterior on the web. The car parked in drive had a nude blow- up doll tied to the top of his car, which was covered completely in bumperstickers. The porch had old dusty furniture and the house smelled very musty.
We went up to the room (We were the only people here, even though all other Inns were booked full). Wire cords hung from hole in ceiling, dead flies on windowsill, and decor looked like garage sale stuff with a goth edge. The whole place looked and felt like it needed lots of repair, and deep cleaning.
We have stayed in bed and breakfasts for 10 years all over the U.S.and Europe, and understand that everyone has different decor and tastes, however, we refused to spend even one night here. It was a strange experience.
