“What is all the fuss about, obviously very picky people!”

Rude Staff? What? Long story short, I have stayed in many hotels, even the designer labels and I would have to say by far this place for the money was Extremely Clean, Home Friendly, and Very comfortable! I visited for Four Winds Casino and researched this property very well. Made my decision, and was extremely pleased. The staff was absolutely not rude at all. They helped me very much with shuttle info to the casino, which I recommend this location for its free ,very close, on time, and your there, and back! No need to drink and drive! Also very quiet. A very good experience and would come back again! I highly recommend~!
Mr. Gambler.

Room Tip: I always found staying on the top most floor works best, so no one is making noise above you!

This Comfort Inn is relatively new, but I wouldn't stay here because of the terribly RUDE manager and staff! They need a class in "how to treat customers"!

Room Tip: My tip is to go across the street to the Holiday Inn!

We've stayed here about 4 times now as the Holiday Inn Exp. and Fairfield Inn across the street has crazy prices. We paid $80 +tax for a very clean and comfortable room. Internet was fast and breakfast was good. This is a new place ( about 2 yrs old ) . Clerks were very friendly and helpfull. The Four Winds Casino is just over the 94 Interstate and I believe there is a shuttle that will take you there and back. For a great place to eat see my review for Skips in New Buffalo ( About 4-5 miles from the hotel). Hestons Supper club, about the same distance as Skips but the other direction, is also good.

Hotel was clean, but after going to bed. Being so close to the casino, there was people arriving, slamming doors, hanging out in the hallways talking loud. Next door the headboard was slamming against the wall after midnight. Finally at 2:30AM we packed up and went home. I told the night staff and she said she couldn't do anything about it and she would have the manager call me the next day. Of course the manager never did. I am a Choice Rewards member and this hotel wasn't worth the $100.00 a night and definitely gets my thumbs down.

Room Tip: Stay away from anything close to a casino.

If you are looking for somewhere to sleep for the night with no frills, this place should work for you. Nice comfortable beds, easy access to I94, decent breakfast, fairly quite. The only complaint I have is $110 a night for a room seems a bit excessive, but it seems like the going rate in that area. Only talked to one staff member at check-in and she was extremely pleasent, friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: Mircowave and mini frig. in room.

This was a new hotel so it wasn't run down or anything and was pretty nice, however the staff here was horrible. When I checked in at night three people were behind the desk (only think two of them worked there) and both seemed like they would rather be doing other things that checking in people at a hotel at 10pm at night. They weren't outright rude, just a weird attitude of "How dare you check in here this late." Then in the morning when I checked out there wasn't anyone working behind the desk, just a housekeeper to hand me my bill.

However, the WORST part of this place was when I was staying here there also was a groups staying on the same floor as me and they all got back in the morning at about 3-3:30 in the morning waking me up and calling me room TWO TIMES on accident.

Whoever owns this place needs to get some better people working here because the ones currently here don't seem to care so go spend your money at the Holiday Inn or Fairfield Inn if you stop in this area.

Recently spent a night in the comfort inn in New Buffalo MI - Exit 1 on I-94 in MI.

65+tax bought me the following:

nice comfortable king-size bed w/5 pillows in an inn that was built about 1.5 yrs ago. some of the nice things

what worked:
+ clean room
+ shower with good power
+ indoor pool / exercise room
+ 7 towels in total
+ large size tv
+ office area (table/chair)
+ couch & ottoman
+ all lights working
+ fridge/microwave
+ continental breakfast including apple/orange juice; bagels/toast; waffles; choice of 3 cerals; pastries; coffee; oatmeal (in packet); fruit (apples, oranges, bananas)
+ 4 newspapers (USA Today, Chicago Tribune, Wall Street Journal; local paper)
+ no dustballs or cobwebs
+ wall controlled thermostat kept room at my desired temperature

What did not work:
+ no padpaper and pen
+ deadbolt didn't lock - not aligned with plate
+ office chair when adjusted at highest level still too low for office table
