“A Grateful Find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

You may just pass this place by from the outside looks of it....but don't! You would be missing out on a great little place that has been remodeled inside with a colorful, slightly funky décor, is spotless and has friendly, attentive service and most importantly, delicious food! There is also has an open-air enclosed deck that has hanging shoe holders filled with growing herbs on one of it's walls along with flower baskets and amble seating! Our server informed us that there is a garden in the back which grows their vegetables! (In the hallway is a nicely framed picture of....who other than, ... Jerry Garcia) !!!

I enjoyed the Banana Custard French Toast with toasted coconuts and hazelnuts and real maple syrup and hubby had the Scramble which included his choice of cheese, mushroom and ham and along side, a vegetable potato cake and the best homemade jams and breads! The breakfast menu is rather small but sufficient with some basic and also unique items along with the daily quiche and fritattas. This will be a "return stop" for us when in the New Buffalo area!

“Not Kid Friendly”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

The restraunt only has two high chairs available. No kid meal options. They did not accomodate large parties when paying seperately. Service member was very short and not welcoming.

“Try it....you'll like it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

This is a small intimate diner with great patio seating. Cute decor, very clean. I ordered the quiche and my husband ordered the vegetarian frittata. Everything was very tasty. Service was good. Go early on weekends because it's very busy.

“Not for vegetarians!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

This place has such excellent reviews and their food; a BLT no bacon, sub avocado, was delicious. But; the service was lacking, as they do not greet you when you enter. I noticed several parties hover uncomfortably unsure if they should seat themselves. (You should) Also, there was only one vegetarian option on the menu, which was a frittata. I was disappointed because I was in the mood for a sandwich.
The decor is also a little odd. One wall is covered in a pixelated printed mural. Overall, I probably wouldn't go back, but it wasn't that bad.

Thanks for your review. Please know that many of our dishes can be re-created vegetarian-style. We hope you'll come back and give us another try.

“Yummy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013 via mobile

Great food. The Eggs Benito are my personal favorite! They also have great baked goods. Only thing I would suggest to them is a kids menu. The place is very small, so you'll either want to go early or expect to wait a few minutes for a table.
