“Could not fault it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2014

Every bit as good as other reviews suggest.
We spent 2 nights in a large well appointed room on the first floor with a balcony overlooking the
swimming pool and bathroom with bath and shower.
The breakfast was delicious and the welcome from Emilie was warm and friendly. The location is ideal right next to the chateau with restaurants on either side and plenty more nearby.
There is no private parking but there is on street parking on the road outside and a large public car park just down the road.
A perfect choice for exploring the island.

A fantastic stay here, our family room was huge and beautifully decorated in shabby white and coir style carpet. Separate stand along bath and bathroom were a nice touch of luxury. View from top terrace out of our door at castle was stunning.

Service from Emilie was of the highest class and the breakfast the best I have ever had in France, the variety and quality of everything offered was unbeatable. Great location just off the castle with many great restaurants around.

Noirmeutier was amazing and I wish to return, I will be staying here for sure!

We stayed there for 2 nights in Nov. 2013. The cosy, peaceful atmosphere is reinforced by the delightful choice of high-end design furniture. The rooms, though not enormous, are wide enough for couples, and the bathroom is a call for relaxation.
The location is absolutely perfect, in the heart of the village, and the bike-rental organized by the Hotel is quite competitive pricewise. If you want to discover Noirmoutiers, it is probably one of the best hotel options there. I bet that the outside pool is also a big plus during summer days.

This is exceptional for a two-star hotel, from furnishings to ambience to breakfast to service. After reading other reviews we expected a lot and weren't disappointed. Location is ideal, and the owners have an encouraging "onwards and upwards" appoach - they plan to make it better. We spent a week here, and we'd certainly return. Only quibble - the room was often not serviced until the afternoon, but this was peak season and the hotel was deservedly full every day.

Room Tip: With balcony overlooking the pool - well worth a bit extra!

We stayed here for 6 nights at the end of july. Lovely hotel. Rooms excellent. Simply decorated but stylish and very clean. Hotel is run by a lovely couple who are very helpful and friendly. We had rooms 1 and 2 which overlook the pool and have a small terrace. Breakfast is extra but worth it. Very good buffet. Kids very impressed with the choice of 4 different caramel sauces to put on crepes. The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the town. Lots to do and some great restaurants.

We found this hotel via trip advisor and took room 16 which has enough room to accommodate 2 adults and 3 kids (of whom one in a baby bed).
The breakfast is served as buffet with a large choice. Don't hesitate to ask for things when you arrive later in the morning. There's always plenty.
Rooms are nice and there is a small pool. Ideal for smaller children.
Right in the center of Noirmoutier, so you can go everywhere by foot.
On Noirmoutier you can also go everywhere with free busses during summer.

Recently refurbished and very stylish hotel. Run by the husband/ wife owners who are very friendly and pleasant. Rooms all in individual styles and either face the castle or pool - sun sets overlooking pool, so these rooms might be the best (where they have the small terrace/ balcony). We had a room overlooking the castle which was equally impressive and a huge rain shower :) Pool itself is more of a 'quick dip' than '20 lengths' type - but a nice addition for somewhere so central. Breakfast is about 9 Euro extra and reasonable value for this; good coffee (as always) and fresh crepes/ pastries; your normal continental breakfast. Little practical alternatives available in the town - most places open around 11.30am for early lunch. Bike hire is a good way of seeing island on the many bike tracks.

Room Tip: Based on what we saw, all rooms are good - just choose between pool/ castle view. Sun sets over the...
