“Cozy little resturaunt, great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

Found this gem a few years back. This time we stopped by on a Friday so fish fry was on the special. Well done, lots of choices for sides. Quick service, even with the restaurant was busy. It's a small place, nothing fancy, but comfortable and good food. It's a little off the beaten path, but that's part of the charm. Oh and the desserts... tons of pies and such, I haven't managed to get out without indulging.

“Never, ever fails to satisfy! A MUST stop place to eat.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

This is a little hole in the wall restaurant near Sand Lake, MI. There is a daily special & the food is amazing! DO NOT FORGET TO GET DESSERT!!! My favorite dish is "The Hawaiian".

“Great Fish Dinner!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

Small establishment with great food and yes it was packed. Short waiting time and service was quick. Food came out perfectly cooked and pipping hot. Breadbasket was included with the meal and had several different types of bread, such as, corn bread, sweet muffins and garlic bread sticks. Every dish that past our table looked wonderful! We ordered strawberry rhubarb pie for dessert and words cannot describe how delicious it was. Left full and happy. We will definitely tell our friends about this place.

“Best Liver and Onions and Bacon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

I have not had such a good liver and onion dinner in YEARS. Nice bowl of soup with it. Liver done to perfection along with the grilled onions. Baby carrots cooked until soft with a slight glaze. Baked potato. Hmmmmmm. I'll be back.

“Very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013 via mobile

Great little restaurant. Don't look at it, just go in and eat. Home made food and desserts to die for. All of them. Gets VERY crowded on Wednesday for the excellent chicken pot pie. Friday is very crowded for the fish fry too. Always a great home cooked meal here.
