“A superb hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

Over a week we had a very relaxing time being well looked after by the owners.
It may be quiet but it is an impressive establishment in a great location.
The garden is carefully tended and is a place to relax in the sun.

Room Tip: First floor front towqards the water.

From Arrival to departure our stay at this place was very enjoyable, tranquil setting and lovely comfortable character. The staff here are friendly and genuine offering excellent professional service. During our stay in many places in France this experience has been the best to date and only wish we could stay here longer. We can highly recommend this place

We stayed in one of the suites which had a nice view over the nearby Golfe du Morbihan. The room and indeed the whole hotal inside and out was spotlessly clean. The room faces eastwards but had electronic blinds so the rising sun did not wake you up too early, the binds providing a very efficient way of completely blocking out the light.
At breakfast we were made very welcome and had fresh warm croissants and a choice of jams, honey or cheese. Coffee and / or orange juice were also on offer.
All in all I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. As well as being clean, tidy and welcoming it is also ideally placed for the nearby attractions including the Golfe du Morbihan, the standing stones at Carnac and even a trip to Belle Isle, which is what we did.

Room Tip: The junior suite directly above the hotel entrance.

Finding this hotel by chance we stayed for two nights in a very comfortable room with views over the Golfe du Morbihan. Breakfast was exceptional and the English speaking owners and staff very helpful.
There were several good eating places in the village for the evening meal. Delightful walks along the shore are accessible just across the road. Private car park and lovely gardens.

This is a great base to explore a popular part of South Brittany. M and Mme Eve are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Bedrooms are modern and as the hotel is on the edge of the village, there is little noise in the evening. If it is sunny breakfast in the garden is a must. There's no restaurant but that's not a problem-walk into the port and eat at L'Escale

I recommend this hotel. Clean, very, very friendly service, great breakfast, nice surroundings. Rooms need slight update. A shower door is needed and we would have preferred a comforter and not a sheet and a blanket on the bed!

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our trip to Brittany. This was one of the best hotels that we stopped in during our visit. The owners are lovely people, so warm and friendly and really want you to enjoy your visit both to the hotel and the surrounding area. The hotel was exceptionally clean and in excellent repair. The sitting area is like being in somebody's home as its so comfortable! Breakfast can be take in the gardens when the weather permits. Come and enjoy your stay!
