We stayed in Hautefort for a week and visited this restaurant twice. It was always busy so I would advice booking. On both occasions the owner was very helpful, recommended dishes and spoke English when my French failed. All of the staff were friendly and there is a good, lively atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the fillet steak and I had a plate of different cooked meats which was delicious but too big for me. The scallops were also delicious.
I would highly recommend the restaurant for a high quality meal which is typical of the region.
