We stayed at the end of May/start of June and Tatijana and Allan's hospitality and well designed, comfortable rooms made up for the cloudy, disappointing weather. As I have zero Croatian, it was a relief to find that Tatijana speaks fluent English. She is generous with the lovely space she has created, so you can treat the kitchen and living area as your own and store food in the fridge if you want to have breakfast there. Located at the Kut end of Vis Town, there is an excellent bar/pizzeria around the corner with lovely views of the bay and the bakery and a supermarket are 2 mins away. If you're breakfasting at Villa Vis, the bakery's marmalade croissants are hard to beat. The beds were large and very comfortable and it's a quiet spot in a back street so you can sleep well. We'll be back another year, just later in the season to stand a better chance of good weather.
