“Coffee, egg sandwiches and souvenirs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2012

This is a wonderful place to meet some locals and get a good latte. Their art, photography, books, and other items available for purchase make for some great souvenir purchases with more local significance. They had signed copies of Ellen Airgood's books (South of Superior) and antique Munising wooden bowls.

“Fun place to visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2012

One of the recommended places to eat, glad we did. Relaxed local feel and a good place to kick back and do some reading if so desired. A great place to visit in the fall where locals come to entertain as well.

“So good, we ate there twice!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2012

This is a really nice community spot that sells books and is also a coffee shop, cafe and ice cream parlor. They have very good food and the prices are great. The people are very friendly and there's plenty of room to relax and chat with the locals while you enjoy your food. Free wifi and very comfortable.

“Book and a meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2012

This is an eclectic and aesthetic treat combined from the real coffee mug and numerous choices of java to the food and ice cream possibilities to munch on while hooking up to the free internet service and sitting down with a good book to read or buy.
Local artisans also display their items for sale here. There are two large rooms to spread out in with comfy furniture or the traditional table/chair seating. There are also stools along an interesting counter to sit at and be entertained on open-mic night or concert night. A must-see.
