Many of my travelling companions wondered why I loved Bhaktapur so much. I would have to say it is because I found the Peacock Guest House. I meant to stay only for the day , but when my friend checked into the Peacock it was love at first sight. I asked if they had a room and was off to buy a toothbrush. Even though I had a room in Kathmandu, I couldn't resist staying a night in this beautiful historic house. They helped make my Bhaktapur experience a beautiful and relaxed one. Arunodaya and his wife Indra will make sure you have everything you need. I only wish I would of had more time to stay there. The food was fantastic and the rooms were very clean and cozy. Truly, you will arrive guests and leave friends.
