“steak that's overcooked and overpriced”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

Went to the steakhouse in the casino (Siniikaung?). Service was slow. Steak was overcooked and high priced. Corn chowder was lukewarm and corn was quite chewy/starchy. Decor was nice but restaurant is oddly placed next to the gaming floor (which is smoky and bright). I guess if you win a bunch of $ @ the casino you don't mind giving it back to them (?), otherwise, steer clear.

“Way too smoky, food overpriced”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

it's way too smoky in this casino. i understand allowing smoking inside, that's good for business. But there is no evidence of proper ventilation or a "smoke eater" running like so many other casinos that allow smoking have. They say "there is no smoking in the restaurants and poker room" but it's so thick that it doesn't make a difference. Eating at either the buffet or the steakhouse, or sitting in the poker room, you are overcome with the heavy smoke odor.

The buffet is 20 bucks. Seems a bit pricey.

“Tight Slots!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

Stayed at the Hotel which was beautiful BUT the casino was boring no entertainment and the the slots were the tightest I've ever seen. In 3 Hours I only saw 1 red light on above the machine waiting for a pay out. Way too many Security and Tribal Police walking around ...way over budget on that issue and I'm a Security professional myself so that is why I noticed, use some of that money to have the machines pay off more. When Firekeepers Hotel opens people will go there for a overnight get away. Totally avoid this casino.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!Only chance to win is to play at the table games.

“OK, NOT so certified hot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

Casino promotes thier slots as "certified hot". I found them les loose tnhan most. The new italian restaurant was wonderful and reasonably priced for a nicer dinner.

“NEVER GOING BACK TO SOARING EAGLE”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

Terrible experience. There was NO PARKING, no attendants to direct you. Attendants should have been stationed to advise you when a lot was full. We drove everywhere looking for a space, and finally parked illegally at the end of a row. Then we saw a security staff and he ESCORTED us with his truck to a lot with open spaces, after quite a drive to get there. We NEVER WOULD HAVE FOUND THAT LOT. It was like a maze of twists & turns to get there. Then, we couldn’t find our car in the darkness after the event. We walked everywhere, in heels. We spent $210 on 2 tix, what a ripoff. Get parking attendants! Get better signage to open lots! Provide shuttles with drivers who can tell you where you parked and get you back to your car after the event! Also TERRIBLE SOUND! You charge that much for such poor sound quality. Muddy sound! Stage was way too far away from center side sections! Next time we are staying home and watching DVDs of Journey. NEVER, EVER GOING BACK to Soaring Eagle!!!!!
