“Unique small town hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2014

A very comfortable two nights’ stay in this small town hotel made a perfect base to explore the Blyde River Canyon. A fascinating and beautifully displayed collection of South African art adorns the public areas as well as the hotel rooms - every one of which is unique in style.
Very good breakfast and friendly service. Overall a great stopover - highly recommended.

What a wonderful surprise in a small town. The rooms in the main hotel have been designed/decorated by artists. Such an original idea. If the rooms are empty- the hotel leaves doors open and you can walk through and admire the artwork. The public areas are also filled with sculptures/paintings and installations.

Rooms facing the street can be noisy. just choose one facing the pool and you'll have a lovely stay.

Room Tip: We had a room with balcony facing the street (4). quite noisy. Highly recommend an upstairs room b...

Great hotel, well situated to see the blyde river canyon area. Clean, bright and very nicely furnished garden room. Wifi in foyer only. Close walk to a number of restaurants. Secure parking for car. We only stayed one night, but would have loved to stay longer.

If you're travelling from Jo'burg and want to do the Panorama route this makes a perfect overnight stopping point. The room (garden) was comfortable and nicely furnished. Although cold when we opened the door it soon warmed up when the heating was switched on. The staff were very pleasant and the breakfast very tasty. The only downside for me was the weird bathroom with the glass doors. Can definitely recommend the Portuguese restaurant just across the road too.

Stayed one night on our way along the Panorama route. Can't recommend this hotel more highly. Room was excellent, spacious and very comfortable and the stay was overall very good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. Location is great too, right in the centre of Graskop with plenty of parking.

It is a lovely hotel in the middle of a small town, Graskop.

We stop here one night before continue our trip to Kruger National Park
We check-in about 6pm and we had a dinner at hotel restaurant, which is very nice

The room is beautiful and clean. Friendly & helpful staff
They serve fresh fruit (very sweet melon) and continental breakfast

Strongly recommend this hotel
