“the origin of the pancake legend!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

Harrie's is the foodie destination of the area during the day. This is the place that created the pancake theme for so many other little outlets in mpumalanga. Excellent variety and quality. Not limited to pancakes either. Their carrot cake has just taken top honors on their menu in my humble opinion. Good coffee too. Also a nice spot to sit and watch the passing parade. BUT service is variable. You have either a sweet or sour service experience - no telling which. Still, not to be missed.

“Great experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

Our tour guide from African Safari took us to Harri's. a popular tourist stop. We had never experience so many pancake choices. Being adventurous we had a chili con carne with sour cream and cheese pancake, a chicken liver pancake, and a fresh fruit pancake. Homemade batter for pancake and generous serving. Worth a stop

“Very wide selection”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

Whether you like sweet or harty pancakes, or even if some of your party do not really like pancakes but like ice, etc... you should pay his place a visit. Yet, don't count on it to be alone. There are always many people in the place, which on its own is already a very good sign. There are also some nice shops nearby.

“Pancakes good but service slow”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

There is a huge selection of pancakes with various selections - the food is always fresh and of a high quality. The same cannot be said of the service staff. Drinks orders took a long time - I eventually got up to go and collect it at the service station as it was just standing there for 5 minutes. The service is also not very friendly and slow.
